CORVALLIS, Ore.–
Lauryn Gamache was announced as the 2019 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Year during the conference's postseason award ceremony on Monday. Six Battlin' Bears earned all-conference honors.
Gamache was selected as the CCC's Women's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Year alongside Northwest's Rylee Rassier. Both players ranked second in the conference this season in total goals with 16. In her final season as a Battlin' Bear, Gamache broke Rocky Mountain College's school record for most career goals, most career assists, and total career points while also recording a school-record five goals against Northwest Christian earlier this season. The junior from St. Louis, Missouri is currently ranked nationally in the NAIA as No. 22 in goals per game (1.070), No. 22 in shots on goal per game (3), No. 28 in total goals, No. 28 in points per game (2.470), No. 36 in total points (37), and No. 37 in shots per game (4.530).
This is Gamache's second CCC Offensive Player of the Year selection after receiving the honor previously in 2017.
The 2019 season counts as Gamache's third straight first team all-conference selection. She also received second team all-conference honors during her freshman year in 2016.

Maia Wetzel and defender
Rita Marshall were both selected as second team all-conference.
Wetzel's 10 shutouts in 2019 broke Rocky's program record for most in a single season. The junior from Billings, Montana received an honorable mention all-conference selection in 2018 and a second team all-conference selection during her freshman year.
Marshall was key anchor in a Battlin' Bears defense that ranked No. 8 in shutouts per game (.630). This is her second straight year earning a second team all-conference selection.

Alexis Robbins, and
Alyssa Schneider each received an honorable mention all-conference selection.
The Battlin' Bears will play College of Idaho today at 8 p.m. (PT) in the quarterfinals of Cascade Conference Championships in Springfield, Oregon.
