WHITEFISH, Mont.– Five of Rocky Mountain College's student-athletes earned conference player of the week honors as announced Monday.
Jackson Duffey earned the Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference. The junior from Ronan, Mont., placed in 16th at the Montana State Cross Country Invitational with a time of 26:02 in the 8K race.
Ruth Chepsat earned the Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference. The junior from Eldoret, Kenya ran a time of 18:22 to place 22nd in the 5K race at the Montana State Cross Country Invitational.
Hailey Derrickson earned the Women's Golfer of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference. The freshman from Austin, Texas finished 13th in a field of 62 golfers after shooting 11-over-par 227 at the Battle at Old Works in Anaconda, Mont.
Nolan Burzminksi earned the Men's Golfer of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference. The freshman from Medicine Hat, Alberta finished in 15th in a field of 56 golfers after shooting 2-over-par 218 at the Northwest Iowa National Invitational.
Ayla Embry earned the Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference. The freshman from Bozeman, Mont., averaged 6.67 digs per set in sweeps over Carroll College and Montana Western.
