Rocky Mountain College ranked No. 29 in NAIA Learfield IMG College Director's Cup

CLEVELAND – Rocky Mountain College finished No. 29th among 194 institutions for the NAIA Learfield IMG Director's Cup. The Battlin' Bears were given 448.00 points.

Developed between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today, points are awarded based on how an institution finishes at each of the NAIA's national championships.

11 of Rocky's 12 participating athletic programs competed in national championships this year. The Battlin' Bears earned 258 points among the fall sports, 69.50 points for winter sports, and 120.50 points for the spring sports season.

Both of Rocky's ski racing teams do not count towards the rankings as they compete in the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA).

Advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2018 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship, the men's soccer team earned the best team finish of the year at No. 5. Rocky's men's golf team finished No. 7, the women's volleyball team finished No. 9, and the women's golf team finished No. 18 at their national championships.

Rocky's football team and each of Rocky's basketball teams advanced to the opening round of their national championships. Both cross country teams raced at the national championship and several Battlin' Bears competed at the nationals for both indoor and outdoor track and field.

The Battlin' Bears ranked No. 103 for 2017-18.

With 921.25 points, Oklahoma City ranked No. 1 for the third year in a row.
