Michael Lee and Jackson Wilson named Frontier Conference Player of the Week
WHITEFISH, Mont. – Rocky Mountain College's
Michael Lee was selected as the Frontier Conference's Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week and
Jackson Wilson was selected as the Frontier Conference's Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the week as announced by the Frontier Conference on Monday.
Lee, a sophomore from Kalispell, Mont., is the Field Athlete of the Week. At the
2020 Stinger Open hosted by Black Hills State in Spear., he placed second out of
8 entries in the weight throw with a throw of 16.18 meters for a new school
record. He finished third in the shot put with a throw of 15.26 meters. The throw
was also a school record and an NAIA B Standard throw.
Wilson, a freshman from Box Elder S.D., is the Track Athlete of the Week. At the
Stinger Open hosted by Black Hills State in Spearfish, S.D.; he won the 3,000-
meter (8:48.27 altitude-adjusted). It was a personal best and an
NAIA-A Standard qualifying mark.
