Battlin' Bears sweep USCSA Western Regional Championships at Bogus Basin
Boise, Idaho - Securing a pair of slalom and giant slalom titles, the Battlin' Bears finished a complete sweep of the USCSA Western Regional Championships.

Giant Slalom:

Ester Jakobsson finished 2nd with a combined time of 1:45.30 in the giant slalom while teammate Sydney Weaver finished third with a combined time of 1:45.48.

The men's team finished 1st through 4th place in the giant slalom. Alexander Sehlberg finished in 1st with a combined time of 1:35.31. Ludvig Bye finished in 2nd with a combined time of 1:36.35. Filip Johansson finished in 3rd with a combined time of 1:36.98. Luke Allen finished in 4th with a combined time of 1:38.52.

Ester Jakobsson and Sydney Weaver claimed the first two spots. Ester Jakobsson finished 1st with a combined time of 1:29.54 and Sydney Weaver finished 2nd with a combined time of 1:31.68.

Alexander Sehlberg and Oscar Dalmalm claimed the first two spots with Filip Johansson tying for third. Alexander Sehlberg finished with a combined time of 1:27.06, Oscar Dalmalm finished with a combined time of 1:29.56 and Filip Johansson finished with a combined time of 1:30.51.
Both the men's and women's team will advance to the USCSA National Championships on March 8-14. The event will take place in Lake Placid, N.Y.
