HELENA, Mont., Nov. 3, 2022- Rocky Mountain College Cross Country will compete for a Frontier Conference Championship, led by Sydney Little and Jackson WIlson, who will look to repeat as Frontier Conference champions.
The Battlin' Bears Men finished in fourth place overall in the 8K race with a team score of 71, led by an individual victory by Jackson Wilson (25:59.0) in the Conference Preview Meet earlier this season. Wilson tied his personal best with a 24:44.2 the following week. Wilson won last year's Conference Championship with a time of 26:02. A young group of Battlin' Bears will look to make a splash in the men's 8K raceÂ
The No. 22 ranked Battlin' Bears Women's team finished in second place overall in the 5K race with a team score of 43, led by an individual victory by
Sydney Little Light (18:11.8) in the Conference Preview Meet earlier this season. Little Light set a personal best this season at 16:58.1, and won last season's championship with a time of 18:07. Rocky will look to take down No. 19 ranked Carroll College, who won the preview meet and are the reigning conference championships.
