The Rocky Men finished with a stroke total of 891, 27 strokes above par and 19 strokes under second place Montana Tech. "Our men's team really struggled today and have a few things to work on. Aidan played solid today and we're pretty excited about his first collegiate win." Coach Nathan Bailey said. "Even though we are leaving Shelby with a win, we know we can play better than what we showed and we look forward to proving that in Helena next week."

The Rocky Women were led by reigning Frontier Conference Tournament Champion Valentina Zuleta, who captured another individual win to begin the 2022 season. Zuleta finished her second round shooting 75, ending with a 149 stroke total to earn herself first place. Claire Wright followed in third place with a 154 total, Tyla Potgeiter and Kadence Fisher tied for fourth with a 156 total, and Grace Metcalf finished in sixth with a 160 total. Breana Jensen ended in eighth place, and Ella Torsleff and Sarah Halferty tied for twelfth to round out the Rocky scorers. The Rocky women finished with a 615 stroke total, which was 39 strokes above par and 48 strokes under second place Montana Tech. "I'm really proud of the women's team and how they played this week." Coach Nathan Bailey said. "We have a few things to clean up with our putting before next week, but we are really excited about where this team is headed right now."

Rocky golf will be back in action next Monday, September 19th and Tuesday, September 20th when they travel to Helena for the Carroll College Invite.
