BOZEMAN, Mont.- Rocky Men's Cross Country finished as the top non-NCAA Division I team on Friday evening, securing a third-place finish at the MSU Bobcat Twilight Meet, while a pair of Battlin' Bears made their collegiate debuts in the women's 5k.

Rocky's top three finishers ran in tight formation, crossing the line within 3.4 seconds of one another. Junior Ashtyn Rask led the pack, placing 26th overall with a time of 16:00.2 to finish as the second-fastest NAIA runner in the field. Junior Caleb Tomac followed closely in 28th place at 16:00.8, while senior Zachary Zwiesler rounded out the lead trio in 29th with a time of 16:03.6.

All five Rocky scorers earned top-40 individual finishes. Senior Matthew Conrad claimed 34th place in 16:17.9, and freshman Joseph Perkins delivered a strong collegiate debut, finishing 38th overall in 16:26.2. Stephen Stohl (65th; 17:44.7) and Carson Nault (75th; 18:20.6) completed the lineup for the Battlin' Bears.

The Battlin' Bears placed third overall with 102 total points, trailing only NCAA Division I hosts Montana State (19) and the University of Montana (44).

A pair of freshmen made their collegiate debuts for the Battlin' Bears in the women's 5K. Samantha Krantz led the duo, taking 46th overall in 21:27.2, while Jaylee Meyers crossed in 57th place with a time of 22:43.8.
