Biography
Reason why you chose Rocky
The atmosphere was overwhelmingly welcoming, from the second that I set foot on campus. Each and every person that I spoke to allowed me to feel at home and like I would be an actual person here, rather than just another student in the crowd.
Favorite animal and why
The eagle has been my favorite for several reasons, many of them being symbols. The eagle represents freedom, prosperity, courage, strength. As well as these characteristics, the eagle has been the symbol of love and hope for me, because I see an eagle often after a large accomplishment. The eagle has been a staple for me after the passing of one of my friends at a very young age.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would definitely love to freeze time, because then I could always sleep in however long I wanted, take as much time as I needed on my homework assignments, etc.
Role Model and why
My biggest role model has and always will be my dad. He has overcome multiple instances of times that should have left him broken, but instead he chooses time and time again to rise above his obstacles and continue pushing forward to better things. He has never been the loudest person in the crowd for any of my games, but has shown up to every single one ever since fifth grade.
Favorite place you've been and why
I absolutely loved Monterey Bay in California. The best time to be there is at sunset, and at the time we were there, there were almost no tourists or people around. The calming nature of the entire place just made it perfect.
