Rocky Mountain College Athletics

Barkell graduated from Rocky Mountain College in 2022 with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Coaching. While at RMC, Barkell competed as a thrower for the Rocky Track and Field team, holding the current school record in the Hammer Throw (45.72M, 150'-0"). 

Barkell began his coaching career in 2022, after graduating her served as the Head Coach of the Belgrade High School sophomore team, before beginning his position as the throws coach for Rocky Track and Field in March 2023.
