PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 19, 2018 – The Rocky Mountain College women's soccer team nabbed their fourth win in a row with a dominating victory over Warner Pacific.
The Battlin' Bears scored first as
Emily Browne found the back of the net off an assist from
Hannah Borgel in the 25th minute.
It was not until the second half of the game that the Battlin' Bears really broke loose.
Hannah Borgel would tap in a goal with help from
Amber Pearson in the 50th minute.
Five minutes later,
Hannah Borgel would play copycat as she tapped in a virtually identical goal off
Amber Pearson.
Up by three, Gamache wasn't finished. She would punt a 20 yard shot into the back of the net unassisted in the 60th minute, before knocking in a ball off of
Hannah Borgel in the 79th.
The Battlin' Bears offense out-shot the Knights 17-7.
Rocky's
Maia Wetzel would allow no goals with no saves.
Samantha Kelley would nab the only save of the night as Warner Pacific only had one shot on goal.
The Battlin' Bears will stay in Portland, Ore. to play Multnomah tomorrow. That action will kick off at 4 p.m.
