BILLINGS, Mont. – In their second game of the season, the Battlin' Bears dominated Salish Kootenai on the way to a landslide 119-50 victory.
Rocky's lead kept increasing as the game progressed. They shot 49.5 percent from the floor with 14 of 36 from beyond the arc. The team pulled in 65 rebounds which doubled that of the Bison.
Satchel McDonald's strong performance included 21 points, six rebounds, and seven steals.
Jared Samuelson scored 20 points and pulled in a team-high 11 rebounds.
Rocky's depth had a chance to prove themselves as the bench scored 60 points on the night.
The Battlin' Bears will compete in a rematch of their previous game as they play Yellowstone Christian College on Tuesday. That game will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Shrine Auditorium.
