BILLINGS, Mont.– The Battlin' Bears powered their way to a 98-24 victory over the Salish Kootenai Bison Friday afternoon.
Rocky started hot with a straight nine unanswered points at the beginning of the game. The Bison couldn't keep up and never drew near the Battlin' Bears as the lead grew further and further out of reach.
The Battlin' Bears shot an even 50 percent from the floor. The team knocked in 7 from beyond the arc on 21 attempts.
Alyssa Big Man had a perfect night as she made everything she attempted on her way to 26 points. She was a perfect eight for eight while putting in an additional perfect eight from eight on the free throw line.
Justyn Juhl scored 12 points with seven rebounds.
The Battlin' Bears will next travel to Pablo, Mont. on Nov. 3 to play Salish Kootenai again. That game will take place at 2 p.m.
