BILLINGS, Mont.– The Battlin' Bears (10-2, 6-1 CCC) secured their sixth conference win in a row with a 2-0 victory over the Argos (6-5, 5-3 CCC).

Neither team managed to score in the first period, but the Battlin' Bears quickly pulled ahead in the second half.

Tulio Melo found the back of the net off a ball from Marco Kummerle in the 48th minute.

Pablo Ferreira scored the second and final goal of the night unassisted in the 59th minute.

Rocky out-shot the Argo's 19-10 with a 6-5 corner kick advantage.

Rocky's Kristofer Wennin pulled in three saves with no goals allowed. Providence's Marc Girones allowed two goals on nine saves.

Rocky will host Corban on Friday, Oct. 12 at Wendy's Field. The game will start at 3:30 p.m.
