Dickinson, N.D., November 24, 2018 – The Battlin' Bears defeated the Blue Hawks 65-45 Saturday evening.

A 12 point run to end the first quarter launched Rocky ahead and there was no looking back. The Battlin' Bears rode the momentum to their sixth win of the season.

Markaela Francis powered her way to a team-high 20 points and nine rebounds with two steals. Kloie Thatcher posted 12 points, five assists, and four rebounds.

Rocky shot 50% on the night, but struggled shooting threes with just a 14.3% from beyond the arc.

Alecia Chamberlin and Marissa Van Atta each contributed 10 points.

Dickinson State's Caleigh McClenhan scored 14 points with six rebounds.

Rocky will return home to play their first conference opponent, MSU-Northern, on Nov. 29. The action will take place at 5:30 p.m.
