BILLINGS, Mont. – The Rocky Mountain College men's soccer team claimed a 4-0 victory over Mid-America Christian Monday afternoon.
The Battlin' Bears (3-1) finished the Labor Day weekend with another win and gave the Evangels (2-1) their first loss of the season. Rocky stood strong all afternoon and never gave the Evangels a chance to gain any sort of footing in the match.
Nolan Sherwood started the game by finding the back of the net in the 12th minute with an assist from
Sky Swenson.
Pablo Ferreira secured a goal of his own off an assist from
Mason Luse in the 68th minute.
Nolan Sherwood would nab another goal nine minutes later.
Bilechi Sumali rounded out the Battlin' Bears' efforts for the day with a goal in the 83rd minute.
Rocky had an 8-6 shot advantage over Mid-America
Rocky will continue play in Billings, Mont. on September 9 against Jamestown. The match will begin at 1 p.m. at Wendy's Field.
