GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Rocky Mountain College recorded their first win of the 2019 season with a 107-74 victory over the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Saturday evening.
Beginning the game with a 15-2 run, Rocky led from tip to buzzer. Five Battlin' Bears scored in the double digits with
Clayton Ladine leading the way on a team-high 23 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds.
Brandon The Boy scored 19 points with four rebounds.
Sam Vining had 14 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Coming off the bench,
Maxim Stephens had a 14 point performance in addition to 12 points from starting forward
Christian Beeke.
The Pronghorns were led by Chad Oviatt who posted the game's only double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Jeffery Rodehutskors scored a team-high 16 points.
Shooting a blistering 55.2 percent from the deep, Rocky excelled on three pointers. The Battlin' Bears finished with a 54.5 field goal percentage. The Pronghorns shot 38.5 percent from the floor and landed just 4-of-19 from beyond the arc.
The Battlin' Bears will next play Yellowstone Christian College on October 29 at the Shrine Auditorium in Billings, Montana.
