HAVRE, Mont. – Rebounding from a pair of home losses last week, the No. 21 ranked Battlin' Bears secured a 55-50 road victory over the MSU-Northern Skylights.
Rocky's (16-7, 7-4 FC)
Brooke Jones scored 12 points with four rebounds.
Justyn Juhl posted 11 points with four rebounds and three blocks. The pair of
Markaela Francis and
Kloie Thatcher scored eight points apiece.
Rocky's bench provided 18 points in the win.
The Battlin' Bears struggled with shooting throughout the night. Draining 39 percent from the floor, Rocky was good for 22.2 percent from beyond the arc. On the free throw line, the Battlin' Bears hit only 11 of 19 opportunities.
The Skylights (10-13, 2-9 FC) out-rebounded the Battlin' Bears just 28-27.
MSU-Northern's Allix Goldhahn and Peyton Kehr each scored 11 points.
Rocky will travel to Great Falls, Mont., tomorrow to take on the No. 22 ranked Argos. The game will tip off at 5:30 p.m.
