BILLINGS, Mont. – The No. 20 ranked Battlin' Bears finished in third among 10 teams competing at the Frontier Preview Meet.
During their first race of the 2019 season, Rocky Mountain College had three runners finish in the top 10 with
Isaac Petsch and
Jackson Duffey leading the pack. Petsch finished in seventh with a time of 27:11.40. Duffey finished right behind him in eighth with a time of 27:18.10.
Elijah Boyd finished in 10th with a time of 27:43.70.
Joseph Vanden Bos finished in 17th with a time of 28:39.10 while
George Beddow placed in 20th with a time of 28:46.50.
Lewis-Clark State took first place with five finishers in the top 15 including the top two runners. The Warriors were led by Chase Barrow who finished in first individually with a time of 26:45.20 while Cole Olsen placed second in 26:51.10.
The Battlin' Bears will next race at the Providence Open in Great Falls, Montana on Sept. 20.
