OLYMPIA, Wash. – A single goal from Milo Downey less than a minute into Rocky Mountain College's conference match-up against The Evergreen State College was all the Battlin' Bears needed for the win.

Downey powered an assist from Nolan Sherwood into the net with just 58 seconds having passed in the game. Neither team would score again.

Rocky's Kristofer Wennin allowed no goals with two saves while Evergreen's Hunter Bowman pulled in six saves with one goal allowed.

Both teams took ten shots each while Evergreen held a slight 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Rocky will next play Oregon Tech on October 4 at Wendy's Field.
