Markaela Francis wins Frontier Player of the Year. Kloie Thatcher earns Second Team honors
WHITEFISH, Mont. – Two Battlin' Bears earned postseason conference honors as announced by the Frontier Conference Wednesday.
Markaela Francis earned the Frontier Conference's Player of the Year in addition to being selected First Team All-Conference. The senior from Great Falls, Mont. averaged 17.73 points and 9.5 rebounds a game. Rocky's scoring leader, she ranked first in the Conference in points per game and No. 19 Nationally. Markaela scored 1,000 career points this year and ends her career 1331 total points.
Kloie Thatcher earned Second Team All-Conference honors. The sophomore from Butte, Mont. averaged 12.52 points and 3.26 assists per game. Kloie's points per game ranked her No. 8 in the conference and she was No. 4 in the conference in assists per game.
Francis was selected Second Team All-Conference last year while Thatcher received Honorable Mention All-Conference.
