Kaelyn Volk Named Frontier Conference Women's Golfer of the Week

WHITEFISH, Mont. - Sept. 21, 2020 – Kaelyn Volk of Rocky Mountain College was selected as the Frontier Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.

Volk is a junior from Sidney, Mont. She was the individual medalist at the Montana Tech Invitational played at the Butte Country Club in Butte, Mont. Volk shot a five-over-par 76 to lead the Rocky women's team to the team title at the first regular-season Frontier Conference golf tournament.

"Kaelyn has been playing great the last month, and her hard work paid off. It was an excellent start to the season for her, as well as our entire team." Said Head Coach Nathan Bailey.

The Battlin' Bears return to action tomorrow, September 22nd, as they'll head to Bill Roberts Golf Course in Helena for the Carroll College Invitational.
