Rocky Mountain College and Oregon Tech were both evenly matched based on statistics, however Oregon Tech capitalized better. There was only a one shot difference on the game, with Oregon Tech having 12 shots and Rock having 11 shots. Both teams had seven shots on goal. The Owls won zero to three.
 
Rocky was led by Amber Pearson with three shots, but seven different Battlin' Bears had a shot in the contest.
