Rocky Women’s Soccer Fall to the Raiders on Penalty Kicks

EUGENE, Ore., November 9, 2021- The Rocky women had multiple promising plays, but failed to score on the afternoon. The game ended after a tie breaking penalty kick shootout. Southern Oregon made five out of five, and Rocky made four out of five.
Atlanta Kishbaugh had five saves in five shots faced in the first 110 minutes of play.
Maja Albertsen,
Kayla Mader,
Nina Rogner, and
Tara Appleby all converted on their penalty kicks.
For the Raiders, Ruth Hegstad, Morgan Rohmann, Phoebe Bunn, Natalie Paul, and Emily Willimanall converted on their penalty kicks. Jessie Selby spent the whole contest in goal for the Raiders. Selby had four saves.
