Rocky Men Win Against Crosstown Rival MSUB

BILLINGS, Mont., December 11, 2021- The Battlin' Bears pulled ahead of Montana State University Billings with three minutes left, and won 64 to 61. Rocky won to split exhibitions with MSU Billings on the season.
The Battlin' Bears were led by Abdul Bah with a game high 23 points, six assists, and one block. Maxim Stephens with 15 points, five rebounds, and one block. Beau Santistevan added 10 points, six rebounds, and one block. The Battlin' Bears shot 41.9 percent from the field, 25 percent from the arc, and 66.7 percent from the line.
The MSUB Yellowjackets were led by Carrington Wiggins with 10 points, five rebounds, and one assist. Malik Brikat also had 10 points and seven rebounds. Nicholas Sebastiao added 10 more points and four rebounds.
Rocky had 31 rebounds to MSUB's 38 rebounds. The Yellowjackets had 32 points in the paint to Rocky's 28. Rocky had 21 points off turnovers to MSUB's 14 points.
The Rocky men head to Arizona for the Cactus Classic this week. The Battlin' Bears men will take on Park University, Arizona Christian University, and Benedictine University at Mesa.
