The Rocky women achieved their second tie of the season today. Tiara Duford had the Battlin' Bears only goal in the match. She was later matched by Northwest University's Callie Wright.
Today was one of the few times that the Battlin' Bear women have not had more shots than their opponents. The Eagles had 19 shots to Rocky's 15, however Rocky had one more shot on goal with 10 total. Rocky was led by Amber Pearson with four shots on the afternoon. Duford had the most shots on goal with three.
The Battlin' Bear defense was led by Morgan Blankenship, who anchored the Rocky women for all 110 minutes. Blankenship had eight saves during the match.
The Battlin' Bears host Southern Oregon next Friday, for the first game of the year on Wendy's Field.
