Rocky Men’s Basketball Falls in Seesaw Battle

BUTTE, Mont., January 20, 2022- Rocky Mountain College's men started slow, but the Battlin' Bears finished the first half well, and a multitude of lead changes lead to Rocky falling 68 to 76. Rocky's men fall to 9-10, 2-5.
Rocky was led on offense by Tayshawun Bradford, who had 14 points, three rebounds, and one steals. Abdul Bah scored 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Nick Hart added 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Rocky shot 37.7 percent from the field, 12.5 percent from deep, and 73.7 percent from the line.
Montana Tech was led by Sindou Diallo, with a game high 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and a steal. Caleb Bellach added 18 points, eight rebounds, and one steal. Taylor England added 11 points and seven rebounds. The Orediggers shot 48.1 percent from the floor, 40 percent from the arc, and 72.7 percent from the line.
Rocky had 15 points off turnovers to Tech's eight points. The Battlin' Bears had 42 points in the paint, and the Orediggers had 34 points. There were six lead changes during the contest.
The Battlin' Bears travel to Havre, Montana to take on the Lights of Montana State University-Northern at 4 p.m. on Saturday January 22.
