BILLINGS, Mont. Oct 13, 2022- Rocky Mountain College Soccer teams will stay home to host Corban University on Friday and Bushnell University on Saturday. 

Battlin' Bears Recap: Women's soccer (2-7-3, 0-5-2 conf.) will look to bounce back after two tough matches against Top-25 opponents last weekend, falling to College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon 0-2. The men's team (6-4-1, 4-3 conf.) split their matches on the road last weekend, falling to College of Idaho 1-2 and defeating Eastern Oregon 1-0.

Scouting the Warriors: The women's teams will begin play at 1:00 P.M (MT). Corban University (7-2-3, 3-1-3 conf.) is coming off of a 1-1 weekend, defeating Evergreen State College 3-0 and falling to Northwest University 1-2. The Warriors are led by sophomore forward Alysia Alvarado and junior defender Jamine Biava, who both lead the team with four goals each. Corban's defense is anchored by junior goalkeeper Makida Herbert, who currently sits fifth in the Cascade with a .867 save percentage, along with 52 saves on the season, which puts her fourth in the conference. The Warriors are coached by Whitney Pitalo in her first season. 
                 
The men's teams will follow beginning at 3:30 P.M (MT). The Corban University men (12-1, 7-1 conf.) currently sitting just outside the Top-25 in the latest poll, have had a very successful season up to this point, only losing to the Cascade's leading team Warner Pacific University two weeks ago. The Warriors are coming off of a weekend sweep of Evergreen State College and Northwest University by defeating both 2-0 last weekend. Corban's offense is led by sophomore midfielder Alexis Luna with a team-leading seven goals. The Warriors are first in the Cascade in goals scored this season with 46 total. Corban's defense is even better than their league leading offense, as they have only given up one goal all season to a late penalty kick in their loss to Warner Pacific. Corban's defense is anchored by graduate senior goalkeeper Quinn McCallion, who is currently third in the nation with a .955 save percentage with 21 saves on the season. The Warriors are coached by Tim Kagey in his sixth season.

Scouting the Beacons: The women's teams will begin play at 4:30 P.M. (PT). Bushnell University (0-12, 0-7 conf.) come to Billings looking for their first win of the season. The Beacons are coming off of losses to Northwest University and Evergreen State College. Bushnell is led by senior forward Dejah Wallot's team leading three goals and sophomore forward Emily Puita who is fourth in the Cascade Conference in total shots with 31. Freshman goalkeeper Madison Bender is second in the conference in total saves with 65 on the season. The Beacons are coached by Benny Flores in his fourth season.

The men will follow beginning at 7:00 P.M. (PT). Bushnell University men (3-9-1, 1-7 conf.) are also looking to rebound after losses to Northwest University and Evergreen State College last weekend. The Beacons are led by sophomore forward Caleb Burke's nine goals this season, including three last weekend. Burke's nine goals ties him for second in the Cascade Conference. The defense is anchored by freshman goalkeeper Diego Montes Carrera is third in the Cascade with 50 total saves this season.
