BILLINGS, Mont. Oct 28, 2022- Rocky Volleyball was unable to overcome the 15th ranked team in the nation Montana Tech on Senior Night, falling in four sets (20-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-27).

Tech took control early, taking the first two sets of the match. The Battlin' Bears found momentum in the third set, taking five of the last seven points in the match to earn a 25-20 victory.

The fourth set was a back and forth matchup with both teams making dazzling plays to keep rallies alive. A kill by Makenna Bushman brought the match tied at 25-25, but Tech's Olivia Muir blasted back to back kills to give Tech the victory 25-27.

Makenna Bushman led the Battlin' Bears with a career high 19 kills, Ayla Embry finished with 28 digs, and Blythe Sealey ended with 36 assists and 11 digs.

The Frontier Conference's leader in kills Maureen Jessop finished with 18 kills, Makenna Kaelber finished with 47 assists, and Olivia Caddy finished with 30 digs.

The Battlin' Bears (16-14, 6-2 conf.) will hit the road to take on Montana Western in Dillon on Friday and University of Providence on Saturday to wrap up their regular season.
