LA GRANDE, Ore. Oct 8, 2022- Rocky Mountain Soccer split their matches in La Grande, Oregon, as the women fell 0-2 and the men won 1-0.

Things were all tied up at halftime against the No. 24 ranked Mountaineers on the women's side, but two early goals in the second half would seal the victory for Eastern Oregon. Rocky was outshot 14-8 in the loss. Brynn Klinefelter and Halle Labert each finished with a shot on goal.

On the men's side, things again were all knotted up at half at 0-0, but only two minutes into the second half, Ethan Maguire broke away and scored his first goal of the season. Rocky outshot Eastern Oregon 17-10 in the victory, as Stefan Schenk saved all three shots he faced in the victory.

The Battlin' Bears will host Corban University and Bushnell University next Friday and Saturday.
