Rocky Volleyball Travels to Indiana Wesleyan For the NAIA Opening Round Saturday
MARION, Ind. Nov. 18, 2022- The Battlin' Bears will take on Indiana Wesleyan in the NAIA Opening Round on Saturday, November 19th at 3:00pm (MT) in Marion, Indiana.

Scouting the Wildcats: Indiana Wesleyan (24-7) finished the season as the No. 19 ranked team in the country in the final coaches poll and qualified for the NAIA Championship Opening Round as an At-Large Bid from the Crossroads League. The Wildcats lost in the semifinals of the Crossroads League Tournament to the No. 21 ranked and eventual Crossroads League Runner-ups Marian University.
Indiana Wesleyan was led this season by five All-Conference performers. Martina Demarchi (OH, 3.11 kills per set) and Victoria Johnson (MH, 2.75 kills per set and 0.79 blocks per set) were named All-Crossroads League First Team. Eva Joldersma (OH/RS, 4.65 kills per set) was also named All-Crossroads League First Team, as well as named the Freshman of the Year. Ally Barkhaus (DS/L, 4.38 digs per set) was named to the All-Crossroads League second team and Abbigail Porter (S, 7.59 assists per set & 1.85 digs per set) was named onto the All-Freshman Team and was an All-League Honorable Mention.
The Wildcats are coached by Candace Moats in her 20th season.
History: Rocky last played Indiana Wesleyan in the 2020 NAIA National Championship Pool Play, where they were defeated in three sets.
