BILLINGS, Mont., Nov. 3, 2022- Rocky Mountain College Volleyball (16-14, 6-2 conf.) takes on Montana Western and University of Providence on the road this weekend to wrap up their regular season.
Recap From Last Week: The Battlin' Bears took on Carroll College last Friday, defeating them 3-1. Rocky faced off against No. 15 Montana Tech on Senior Night, falling in a close four set match 1-3. Ayla Embry earned her seventh Conference Player of the Week award and her fourth consecutive award after averaging 9.38 digs per set last weekend.

Scouting the Bulldogs: Montana Western (10-15, 2-7 conf.) comes into Friday night off a tight five set loss against No. 15 ranked Montana Tech at home Wednesday night. The Bulldogs have faced off with the Battlin' Bears twice this season, both matches going in favor of the Battlin' Bears. This will be the first time this season the Battlin' Bears will travel to Dillon.
Western is led by sophomore outside hitter Jazi Smith (2.77 kills per set), sophomore setter Kaylee Fritz (8.61 assists per set), and sophomore libero Kelsey Goddard (5.13 digs per set).

Scouting the Argos: University of Providence (9-17, 2-6) will finish their regular season facing off against Carroll College on Thursday, then wrap up against the Battlin' Bears on Saturday afternoon. The Argos are coming off of sweeping MSU-Northern in three sets and beating Western in four sets at home last weekend. Providence has taken on the Battlin' Bears twice, both in Billings. Rocky came out on top in both of those matches this season.
The Argos are led by junior outside hitter Jenna Thorne (2.88 kills per set), freshman setter Bella Thompson (7.40 assists per set), and sophomore libero Taylor Christensen (4.66 digs per set). Junior middle blocker Zoe Naugle is second in the Frontier Conference averaging 1.19 blocks per set this season.
