No. 25 Rocky Women’s Basketball Plays Doubleheader Against No. 22 Lewis-Clark State College

LEWISTON, Idaho. Nov. 4, 2022- Rocky Women's Basketball will get a good test against another top-25 ranked team as they take on Lewis-Clark State College on Friday and Saturday. Friday's game will tip off at 6:00pm (MT), while Saturday's matchup will tip off at 3:00pm (MT).
 
Recap from Last Week: The Battlin' Bears played their first recorded game on Sunday against The King's University, winning 98-32. The Battlin' Bears forced a whopping 45 turnovers in the rout over the Eagles. 

Scouting the Warriors: Lewis-Clark State College (0-1) began their season last Saturday in a match against No. 2 ranked Westmont, falling 73-81. The Warriors finished last season as the No. 19 ranked team in the country, losing in the Opening Round to Wayland Baptist to finish their season last season. 

The Warriors return their top five scorers from last season, and four out of their five starters from last season, highlighted by 2021 NAIA Third Team All-America and CCC Player of the Year junior guard Callie Stevens (18.3 ppg, 2.7 apg, 1.2 spg, 39.4% 3pt), 2021 All-CCC First Team junior forward Maddie Holm (11.9 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 1.8 spg), and 2021 All-CCC Honorable Mention senior post Sara Muehlhausen (9.5 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 2.1 bpg). 

The Warriors are coached by Brian Orr, entering his 22nd season as head coach.
