Rocky Men Fall to No. 25 Ranked Corban University 1-3 in CCC Tournament

EUGENE, Ore. Nov. 9, 2022- The sixth seeded Rocky Mountain College Men's Soccer team fell to third seeded and nationally ranked Corban University 1-3 Tuesday evening to conclude their 2022 season.

The Warriors got on the board twice in the first half, first by sophomore midfielder Andres Labate in the 18th minute. Freshman forward Jaden Dubon drove a well placed pass to junior midfielder Gian Gargurevich in the 44th minute to give Corban a 2-0 lead going into half time. 

Rocky outshot Corban in the first half 6-3, and in the entire game 10-6. However, the Warriors put five of their six shots on goal, while the Battlin' Bears only put three of their shots on goal out of their 10. 

Niklas Kneller put the Battlin' Bears on the board in the 82nd minute, but it was too little too late as Rocky fell 1-3. Kneller was the Battlin' Bears leading shot taker with four on the day, while Angel Mange and Lorenzo Klamler each had two. 

Rocky finishes the season 10-7-1, led by five all-conference performers in Igor Soares, Quique Garcia, Niklas Kneller, Finn Lane, and Aaron Ulloa.
