BILLINGS, Mont., February 12, 2022- The Battlin' Bears struggled rebounding and No. 11 Carroll College went on to win 83 to 57. The Battlin' Bears are now 11-15, 4-10 on the year.
Rocky was led on offense by
Jesse Owens, who had 12 points, one rebound, and three assists.
Kael Robinson added 11 points, five rebounds, and one steal. The Battlin' Bears shot 37.8 percent from the field, 18.8 percent from the arc, and 90.9 percent from the line.
Carroll College (26-3, 12-2) was led by Jovan Sljivancanin with 21 points, 15 rebounds, and five assists. Andrew Cook added 20 points and two steals. Shamrock Campbell contributed 16 points and two steals. The Saints shot 52.9 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from deep, and 62.5 percent from the line.
Rocky had five points off turnovers to the Saints' 21 points. Rocky had 18 points in the paint to Carroll's 32 points.
The Battlin' Bears host Montana Western on Thursday at 7 p.m. on First Interstate Bank Court in the Fortin Education Center.
