Rocky Women Host Tech for Semifinal of the 2021-22 Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament

BILLINGS, Mont., February 25, 2022- The Battlin' Bears face Montana Tech for Semifinal of the 2021-22 Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Tournament. The game will be on First Interstate Bank Court in the Fortin Education Center at 7 p.m. Saturday February 26.
No. 10 Rocky finishes the regular season with a share of the Frontier Conference Regular Season Championship. Rocky enters the 2021-22 Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Tournament as the No. 1 seed. Rocky received a First Round bye, and now faces the lowest remaining seed, Montana Tech.
Rocky Mountain College finished the regular season at 24-4, 12-3. The Battlin' Bears are averaging 68.4 points per game, 34.7 rebounds per game, and 9 steals per game. N' Dea Flye leads the Battlin' Bears with 21.1 points per game, 9.5 rebounds per game, and 3.3 steals per game.
Kloie Thatcher added 13.6 points per game, shot 38 percent from the arc, and 1.9 steals per game.
Rocky is 3-0 against Montana Tech this season with a combined score of 204 to 163 Rocky.
Montana Tech finished the regular season, and won in the first round to be 13-18, 3-12. The Orediggers are averaging 64.1 points per game, 34.1 rebounds per game, and are shooting 37 percent from the arc. Tavia Rooney leads the Orediggers with 12.4 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game. Dani Urick is adding 10 points per game.
Tickets to the game will be $10 for adults and $8 for kids. Kids under 10 years old will be free. Only Frontier Conference Lifetime Passes will be accepted.

With a win, Rocky will host the championship game on Tuesday March 1. If Montana Tech wins they will travel to the winner of the other semifinal game between the University of Providence and Carroll College.
