BILLINGS, Mont., February 5, 2022- The No. 18Â Battlin' Bears started slow, and trailed going into halftime by two. Rocky outscored Montana Tech by 16 in the second half, to win 74 to 60. The Battlin' Bears are now 22-3, 10-2 on the year.

Rocky was led on offense by N' Dea Flye, who had 36 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Kloie Thatcher added 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists. The Battlin' Bears shot 43.8 percent from the field, 27.3 percent from the arc, and 70.6 percent from the line.

Kloie Thatcher reached 1,003 career points. Thatcher scored every point for the Battlin' Bears.

Montana Tech (12-15, 3-9) was led by Tavia Rooney with 15 points, 14 rebounds, and two steals. Dani Urick added 12 points and four assists. Mollie Peoples contributed 11 points and two rebounds. The Orediggers shot 37.1 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from deep, and 85.7 percent from the charity stripe.

Rocky had seven points off turnovers to the Oredigger's two points. Rocky had 38 points in the paint to Tech's 22 points. Rocky now has three women with more than 1,000 career points (
Shauna Bribiescas, N' Dea Flye, and
Kloie Thatcher).
