Rocky Women Head to Sioux City to Take on Storied Wayland Baptist

BILLINGS, Mont., March 16, 2022- Rocky Mountain College travels to Sioux City, Iowa for the 2022 NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship presented by Bomgaars. The Round of 16 game will take place at the Tyson Events Center at 8 p.m. CT.
No. 2 Rocky finished the regular season with a share of the Frontier Conference Regular Season Championship, won the Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Tournament Championship, and won their Opening Round Championship. Rocky enters the 2022 NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship as the No. 2 seed in the Duer Quadrant. Rocky will face Wayland Baptist University at 7 p.m. MT/ 8 p.m. CT on Thursday, March 17.
Rocky Mountain College is currently 28-4, 12-3. The Battlin' Bears are averaging 68.7 points per game, 35.5 rebounds per game, and 8.9 steals per game. N' Dea Flye leads the Battlin' Bears with 21 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game, and 3.4 steals per game.

No. 3 Wayland Baptist University won the Sooner Athletic Conference regular season and tournament, and won their Opening Round Championship.
