Recap from Last Week: Rocky men and women each went 1-0-1 in their trip to North and South Dakota last weekend. The men drew with Presentation College 1-1, then beat University of Jamestown 2-1. The women also drew with Presentation College 1-1, then defeated University of Jamestown 1-0. Freshman Emma Lensing had a big weekend for the women, scoring her first two collegiate goals to provide the offense for the Battlin' Bears, while Igor Soares scored a goal and an assist to lead the men's team.

Scouting the Argo's Women: The Argo's women team finished non-conference play 0-3, including a 5-0 loss to the Battlin' Bears two weeks ago. This was the most recent matchup for Providence, after poor air quality forced a cancellation of their matchup against Whitworth last Sunday. The Argo's leading shot taker is freshman Daniela Waialeale, who has scored their lone goal in their first three matches. Providence's defense is anchored by senior goalkeeper Kaitlyn Sisler, who has totalled 21 saves so far this season, including 13 in the Argo's first matchup of the season against Mount Royal University. The women's team is coached by third year head coach Heather Blandford.

Scouting the Argo's Men: The Argos have only played one matchup of record in their non-conference play, losing to Carroll College 0-1 on August 30th. The Argos are led by 2021 All-Conference honorable mention Tomeu Nebot Schmalfeld and anchored by sophomore goalkeeper Sam Fingers, who tallied four saves on five attempts in the Argo's loss to Carroll. The men's team is coached by first year head coach Will Hander.

History: Since 2006, Rocky women are 29-3-1 against Providence, including a current win streak of 11 matches. Since 2009, Rocky men are 12-14-0 against Providence. The Argos won the previous matchup between these two teams last season 1-0.
