HELENA, Mont., Sept. 30, 2022- Rocky Mountain College Volleyball was in control from start to finish, defeating Carroll College 3-0 (26-24, 25-11, 25-21).

The Battlin' Bears brought energy to the Carroll College PE Center, displaying their best match of the season. Rocky held a lead most of the first set, but after Carroll brought it back to tie 24-24, Bella Bryan executed back to back kills to give Rocky a 1-0 lead. The second set was all Rocky, as the Battlin' Bears held a lead as large as 17-4, cruising to a 2-0 set victory. After Carroll got out to a 8-3 lead in the third set, a timeout by Rocky sparked their momentum back and led to a run to bring them back even with Carroll. A Blythe Sealey kill was the final blow as Rocky stuns Carroll for their second conference victory of the season.

Ayla Embry led the way for the Battlin' Bears with 24 digs, Blythe Sealey tallied 36 assists, and Makenna Bushman finished with 13 kills.

Julia Carr led the Saints with 16 digs, Hannah Schweickert tallied 28 assists, and Katherine McEuen and Elizabeth Heuiser each had 9 kills.

The Battlin' Bears (9-10, 2-0 conf.) will travel to Butte Saturday to take on No. 19 Montana Tech at 6:00pm.
