Rocky Men’s Soccer Falls in Portland 5-0 to Multnomah

BILLINGS, Mont.- An afternoon to forget for the Rocky men, as four second half goals led to a 5-0 loss in Portland, Oregon. 

Multnomah outshot Rocky 10-4 in the first half as they led by a goal after Nazir Zahouri knocked one in just nine minutes into the match. Things were opened up in the second half as the Lions poured it on with four goals and 23 shots in the second half alone. 

The Battlin' Bears were outshot 33-9 in the losing effort, with 19 of Multnomah's shots being on goal. Igor Soares was responsible for five of Rocky's nine shots, putting four of his shots on goal. 

The Battlin' Bears (4-7-3, 2-7-1 conf.) will stay in Portland to take on Warner Pacific University in their final road game of the regular season on Sunday. Kickoff will be at 1:00pm (MT).
