Rocky Men’s Soccer Falls to Eastern Oregon 4-1

LA GRANDE, Ore.- The Rocky men dropped their second straight match at the hands of the Mountaineers in La Grande Friday evening. 

Eastern Oregon tallied three goals before the end of the first half, with Dawson Heuett, Milton Hernandez, and Edgar Romero Perez all found the net in the first 45 minutes of play. 

The Battlin' Bears got a goal back just two minutes into the second half, as Tor Swann scored his third goal of the season to cut the deficit to two. This would be the finale of the Rocky scoring however, as EOU would tally a final goal in the 84th minute to grab a 4-1 conference win. 

The Battlin' Bears stayed almost even in the shot category, trailing the Mountaineers 13-12, but Rocky only kept three of their shots on goal. 

The Battlin' Bears (3-2-2, 1-2 conf.) will continue their road trip as they take on #17 ranked College of Idaho on Sunday morning. Kickoff is at 11:00am (MT).
