Rocky Football Shutout by No. 15 Montana Tech 38-0

BUTTE, Mont.- The Battlin' Bear defense held the Orediggers out of the endzone in the second half, but the offense was kept quiet in their defeat in Butte. 

How it Happened
Montana Tech would produce all the offense they needed early in the afternoon, scoring touchdowns on all four of their possessions in the first half. The Orediggers would add a field goal on their opening possession of the second half to bring the score to what it would hold to be until the final whistle, 38-0. 

The Battlin' Bear offense was held to a season-low 152 total yards, including just 57 passing yards on the afternoon. Rocky did not possess the ball in the red zone for the first time all season. 

Montana Tech would total 524 yards of offense, including 336 yards through the air. 

Notable Statistics
After playing a significant role on special teams this season, freshman Tuff Adams debuted in the backfield in Butte, rushing eight times for 34 yards to average 4.3 yards per carry. JT Allen completed six-of-14 passes for 33 yards on the afternoon while rushing the ball nine times for 30 yards. 

Defensively, Landen Quesnell totaled a game-high 11 tackles on the afternoon, including seven solo tackles.

The Battlin' Bears (1-7) will enter a bye week before returning home for Senior Day on November 9th against Arizona Christian on Herb Klindt Field.
