Rocky Men’s Soccer Season Concludes in CCC Quarterfinals

MEDFORD, Ore.- The Battlin' Bears were held in check offensively in their quarterfinals matchup as their season ends in the 2024 CCC Tournament Quarterfinals. 

Rocky found opportunities offensively with ten total shot attempts, but only two were on frame, with both being saved. They were shut out for the first time since a 1-0 loss to Eastern Oregon on September 29th. 

Warner Pacific scored their first goal on a corner kick that the Battlin' Bears cleared before being regathered by Chanin Orlandin, who fired a shot into the net in the 12th minute. 

The Knights added an insurance goal after a corner kick deflected off of a Rocky defender following contact inside the box and rolled into the goal, bringing the final to 2-0.

The Battlin' Bears (8-7-2) showed tremendous promise in the 2024 season, which featured a roster of 22 freshmen. They concluded the campaign with an 8-7-2 overall record.
