BILLINGS, Mont.- Local duo Mya Maack and Charlize Davis showed off their on-field chemistry with a slick game-winning goal to give the Battlin' Bears their first conference victory.

How it Happened

Rocky's offense showed promise throughout the first half, putting ten shots up compared to Eastern Oregon's three. While none found the net, the Battlin' Bears had set themselves up for success entering the second half.

Rocky finally broke through with the first and only goal of the match after Charlize Davis took the ball deep into the box and dished it back to the middle of the box to teammate Mya Maack before Maack sent it right back to Davis, who knocked it into the net, giving Rocky the 1-0 lead they would hold through the remainder of the match.

In total, the Battlin' Bears scored 14 shots to Eastern Oregon's 8, including nine of Rocky's shots on goal. Emma Lensing totaled a game-high four shots, and the Maack sisters, Mya Maack and Morgan Maack shot three a piece.

Goalkeeper Hannah Trumbull turned in her second shutout of the season, saving all five shots she faced.

The defensive backline was equally impressive, holding the Mountaineers to just eight shots and tying a season-low.

For Eastern Oregon, goalkeeper Madelin Barker tallied eight total saves on the afternoon.
