BILLINGS, Mont.- Senior wide receiver Eric Lira earned Offensive Player of the Week honors, announced by the Frontier Conference Monday afternoon. 

He became the first Battlin' Bear to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors since November 2023. 

Eric Lira, a redshirt senior from Phoenix, Arizona, recorded one of the top receiving performances in the NAIA this season in Rocky's 28-21 victory over Dickinson State. Lira totaled 13 catches for 216 yards and three touchdowns. He recorded the most receiving yards by a Battlin' Bear in a single game since 2017 (Lucas Overton - 223 yards versus Montana Western). 

Lira's performance led the Battlin' Bears to a 2-0 start to divisional play, as they sit tied with No. 4-ranked Montana Tech for first place. 

This is Lira's first career player of the week award.
