Rocky Volleyball Falls in Three Sets on Senior Day

BILLINGS, Mont. - Rocky Volleyball's 2025 season came to a close on Saturday, falling to Dickinson State.

The Battlin' Bears honored four seniors pre-game for their contributions to the volleyball program throughout their years: Lauren Rodacker, Gabriella Panzetta, Kyla Muller, and manager Sydney Muller.

How It Happened

After Dickinson State took an early lead, the Blue Hawks broke the first set open midway through with five consecutive points, eventually breaking through with a 25-15 first set win, after they hit an impressive .333 hitting percentage.

Sadie Meier and Amelia Kisiel combined for seven early kills in the second set, battling the Blue Hawks to a 15-15 draw. Again, it would be a mid-set run by Dickinson State that would be the difference, rattling off a 7-1 run to extend a six-point lead, 22-16, eventually securing a 25-20 win.

After Dickinson stormed to an early lead in the third set, Rocky put together a 10-3 run to take a slim 14-13 after a kill from Olivia Fauth. With the rest of the set going back-and-forth, Dickinson State would finish the set on a 4-1 run to swipe the third set win and a match win to conclude the season.

Notable Statistics

Sadie Meier led the way with nine kills (.259). Olivia Fauth added seven, with Amelia Kisiel totaling six. Zoey Albert and Delayne Lindeen each added 14 digs, while Kristyn Mentink tallied 17 assists.
