Home Sweet Home
Rocky Women's Basketball returns home after seven straight road games to host Dickinson State on Friday and Bismarck State on Saturday in the Fortin Education Center.

Downtown Bears
The Battlin' Bears have been the most efficient three-point shooting team in the Frontier Conference this season, converting 41.2% of their shots from deep. Rocky enters the weekend as just one of three teams in the NAIA this season to shoot 40% or better from three as a team. Iliana Moran (71.4%), Tailyn Black (57.1%), Angelina Cavanaugh (50.5%), Paige Wasson (43.5%), and Gabriella Biittner (40%) all have shot over 40% from deep to begin the season.

Impact Off the Bench
Junior Tailyn Black provided the Battlin' Bears with a much-needed spark offensively in their 67-54 road victory over Montana Western. Coming off the bench, she provided a career-high 16 points, hitting all six shots she took from the field, surpassing her previous career-high of eight points. Black has been a key offensive player over the last few games, hitting at least two three-pointers in three of her past four games.

Scouting the Blue Hawks
Dickinson State enters the weekend with a 3-6 overall record and a 1-4 record in conference play, their lone conference win coming against Bismarck State. Rocky took a commanding victory in the first matchup, 77-56 in Dickinson. The Blue Hawks have since returned senior guard Anhelica Shanrock, who is averaging 10 points per game in her first four games this season. In the last matchup in the Fortin Education Center, Shanrock scored 23 points in Dickinson State's 61-55 win over Rocky a season ago. The Blue Hawks enter the weekend as the top free-throw shooting team in the Frontier by percentage, converting 77.7% of their opportunities.

Scouting the Mystics
Bismarck State holds an overall record of 1-7 this season so far and 1-4 in conference play going into the weekend, with their only win of the season coming over the Battlin' Bears on November 21st, 93-88 in Bismarck. Senior guard Kennedy Stormer has been a standout for the Mystics, leading the conference in scoring (22.9), free throws made (42), and steals per game (2.4). She has earned back-to-back Offensive Player of the Week honors, scoring 20 or more points in six of her past seven games played. The Bismarck State offense is centered on the three-point shot, averaging 37.3 attempts per game and making 11.1 so far this season. The Mystics were red hot from deep in their last matchup against the Battlin' Bears, sinking 23 of their 51 attempts in their win over the Battlin' Bears.
