BILLINGS, Mont.- After seven seasons as Head Coach for the Battlin' Bears, Chris Stutzriem announces his resignation. 

Coach Stutzriem departs Rocky Mountain College for another coaching opportunity. 

"We are grateful to Coach Stutzriem for the good work he has done for the students of Rocky Mountain College." Rocky Mountain College President Dr. Bob Wilmouth said. "We wish him the best in his new role."

In his seven seasons, Coach Stutzriem posted a 30-35 overall record, leading the Battlin' Bears to a share of the Frontier Conference Title in 2021 and earning the 2021 Frontier Conference Coach of the Year award. 

Offensive Coordinator Teague Blome has been tagged as the Interim Head Coach. 

A national search for the next Head Coach for Rocky Mountain College Football will begin immediately.
