The Battlin' Bears will resume Frontier Conference play with a road trip to Butte and Dillon, taking on Montana Western and Montana Tech.

Beat the Best to Be the Best
The Rocky women have faced a challenging schedule thus far in 2025, as Friday's matchup against Montana Tech will be the third consecutive game against a top-25 opponent. According to the Massey Ratings, the Battlin' Bears have faced the 14th most challenging schedule in the NAIA. In their three top-25 matchups this season, Rocky is 2-1, defeating No. 16 (then No. 14) Carroll College and No. 21 Oregon Tech, both by double figures.

Breakout Sophomores
The sophomore treasure state duo of Paige Wasson and Isabelle Heggem has been a focal point of the Battlin' Bear success so far this season. Wasson ranks second in the Frontier Conference in scoring this season, averaging 20.8 points per game. Her three-point shooting has led the charge, tied for the most three-pointers made this season (21), while shooting over 47% from deep. She's also added seven rebounds per game, which ranks eighth in the Frontier, while playing the most minutes per game of anyone in the conference this season (37.2). Heggem has been a force on both ends of the floor, leading the conference in total rebounds per game (11.2) and blocks per game (2.5). Offensively, she has contributed over 15 points per game, while leading the Battlin' Bears in assists with 3.7, which is tied for second most this season in the Frontier.

Scouting the #25 Orediggers
Montana Tech has begun its season with a 6-1 overall record and a 2-1 conference record, with its lone loss this season coming to Valley City State University. The Orediggers are the leading rebounding team in the Frontier Conference (47.6 per game), while outrebounding their opponents by an average margin of 14.1. They currently hold their opponents to a conference-best 51.7 points per game.  Four players average double-figures in scoring, led by senior post Hadley Humphreys, scoring 11.4 points per game.
